HOW TO PLAY WILD VIKING Wild Viking is an unusual game in that someone had the idea to mix Poker and Roulette into one game, patented the idea, and then sold it on to the casino operators. The patent was granted in 2009, and since then Wild Viking has taken off in popularity like no other game before. The beauty of Wild Viking is that it's a twist on familiar games, and easy, yet fun. So how does it work? It's a card game which uses 52 cards plus 2 Jokers laid out face up on a table. You can place a bet on any of these cards. There are also outside bet areas Red / Black, and Odd / Even, and in these respects, you can see its' similarity to Roulette. You can place bets in the same way as Roulette, but you can also place side bets on Poker hands, like Four of a Kind, Flush etc. Like Roulette, multiple bets can be placed in one round. Once you have placed bets, the Banker deals out five cards, face up. Here the game becomes more like Poker, with your Poker bets being determined by the five drawn cards. The fifth card dealt is the Roulette type bet, determining the outcome of your single card, Red / Black, bets and so on. An inside bet on a single card pays out at 51 to 1. Black / Red and Even / Odd bets pay out at 1 to 1. There are two more outside bets that you can see on the table above - Joker bets, which again pay out at 51 to 1, and the Wild Viking bet. This is a bet that the first and last cards drawn by the banker will be Jokers, and pays out at 1250 to 1. Poker type bets pay out as follows - Four of a Kind pays out at 280 to 1 Full House pays out at 150 to 1 A Flush pays out at 90 to 1 A Straight pays out at 45 to 1 Three of a Kind pays out at 3 to 1 Two Pairs pays out at 6 to 1 One Pair pays out at 1 to 1.
